Our Fine Fleur category comes from the noblest part of
saffron pistil, at the upper end of the threads, and meets Category I requirements of the ISO 3632 standard. It is the highest quality saffron, with a level of crocin (colouring ability), picrocrocin and safranal higher than all other saffron categories on the market. It has very fine, deep red strands.
The threads of this product are longer than those of the Fine Fleur and are made up of the pistil and its three stigma and a very small part of the yellow style (depending on the standard).
